Overview

Recruiting an experienced Shift Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all production activities.

You will lead and motivate your shift team to make certain the plan is delivered on time with minimal waste, ensuring a quality mindset, zero defects, right first-time mentality to meet or exceed your production targets.

This role is 4 on 4 off 12 hours days/nights shift rotation, you will be the responsible manager in charge during unsociable hours.

The Role:

• To ensure the plan is delivered at best efficiencies with minimal waste and no compromises to quality through management of your team.
• Responsible for 100% of the units’ output in terms of blend availability, packed production, or both.
• You will have the ability to instill pride and ownership within your team to enable them to drive performance via a safety, quality, delivery, plant, cost, and people culture.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years managing teams within a highly automated, complex production environment e.g., multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc.
• Understand how KPIs are developed and has a track record of achieving results and ‘raising the bar’. Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements.
• Understands how to lead site performance from a basic environment to the highest levels of efficiency and standards. Has a track record of achieving this.

Hours of work:

• 4 on 4 off shifts = 42 hours per week, 2 x 12-hour days and 2 x 12-hour nights.
• £43,000 to £48,000 per annum, dependent on skills, knowledge & experience.
